The first leg was a pretty dour affair but it has to be said that Villarreal looked fairly average. With home advantage I expect Liverpool to win this. They have been taking the competition extremely seriously by resting many players for Premiership matches and I think it will pay dividends as when at full strength Liverpool have looked like an excellent team and certainly one good enough to beat Villarreal.
